In the movie "Monty Python and The Holy Grail" there is a scene in which villagers accuse a woman of being a witch. It is an absurd scene that makes me laugh whenever I see it, or even think about it.
Recently, in Toronto, Ontario, a woman arrested for defrauding a lawyer of a lot of money by posing as a law student, was also charged with " . . . pretending to exercise witchcraft, sorcery, enchantment or conjuration . . . " because she proffered a tarot card reading that helped her defraud her victim of his money.
