Pavarotti and Lou Reed perform "Perfect Day" at the Pavarotti and Friends Concert, in 2001.
There are mulitple versions of the song. Here are the lyrics for the version in this video:
Perfect Day, written by Lou Reed
Just a perfect day
Drink sangria in the park
And then later, when it gets dark, we'll go home
Just a perfect day
Feed animals in the zoo
Then later a movie too, and then home
[Chorus:]
Oh it's such a perfect day
I'm glad I spent it with you
Oh such a perfect day
You just keep me hanging x2
Just a perfect day
Problems all left alone
Weekenders on our own
It's such fun
Just a perfect day
You make me forget myself
I thought I was someone else
Someone good
[Chorus]
You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow

Superb video, Dick old chap. Instrumentally stunning, vocally hilarious! I'm still laaaaarrfing. Ols louie has such poor control of his voice now, it just sings the notes it wants to and he can go fuck himself. As for Luciano... did he do this before or after his death? He stretches his phraseology out so much he fits one word in per bar. I do love this clip. It is fantastically entertaining.
This is great!
