The Useless Hillary Clinton

As a leftist and a formerly life-long Democrat, I find the rise to power of Hillary Clinton to be disgusting. She is the most loathsome creature to climb the ranks of the Democratic Party. Her war-mongering, sexism and homophobia masked successfully by a media machine that would make Richard Nixon proud (but that can never overtake the likes of Karl Rove) is a blemish on the ass of America's political system.

I asked the Democrats to stop sending me emails when I stopped supporting them in September,2006. Of course, like neo-cons everywhere, they ignore what I think is best for me and impose their notions of what I should do.

I decided to play nice yesterday and I responded to and promoted their e-petition drive that is hoped to whip-up support for an impeachment of the current president and vice-president.

Upon submitting that petition, I received an auto-response (the most insulting process since the colonoscopy, and producing similar results) from Senator_Clinton@clinton.senate.gov:

Thank you for your e-mail. It is very important to me to know the issues that are of concern to you. A growing number of my constituents are now choosing to communicate with me via e-mail. I hope you will understand that, because of the volume and range of e-mails I receive, it can take some time to send a response that specifically addresses the subject raised in your message. I do, however, want to let you know immediately that your message has been received. Hearing from you and others through e-mail helps me to quickly learn the views and interests of New Yorkers and others, which is very helpful to me in my work in the United States Senate. I hope you will continue to monitor my work through my website at http://clinton.senate.gov, and I welcome hearing from you.

So I wrote back:

I have not sent Senator Clinton an email.

I do not wish to receive emails from Senator Clinton.

I consider unsolicited emails from Senator Clinton to be harassment.

Remove me from all of Senator Clinton's email lists and do not send me auto-generated emails from the Senator.

You see, Hillary Clinton does not listen to her constituents. She has decided on an agenda that will make her the most powerful woman in the world and I have my place in it. I am to sit here, shut-up, listen to her lies, and in order to be considered a good liberal by otherwise intelligent people, I am expect to flourish upon her my unwavering support.

I will work over the next two years to be certain Hillary Clinton goes no further in her political ambitions than Jr Senator from New York, and I hope you will stop sending money to the Democrats until they find a leader that is at least a liberal. Neo-cons belong in another party, get her out of the Democratic Party.
