I have read recently right- er, wrong-wingers saying that Reagan was not anti-gay and never had a failing or negative position on the battle against AIDS. They say this is true because you cannot find any quotes from Reagan that prove it.
The fight against AIDS was fought from the trenches by the people afflicted by it and the money of wealthy homosexuals. Reagan and his regime said and did almost nothing until 1985.
The fact that Ronald Reagan said almost nothing about AIDS is the point. He ignored the fact that a plague was ripping through our nation. He did nothing. He said nothing. This makes him a bad and evil person.
His sin was silence and inaction.
Reagan sits before his Creator with blood on his hands: the blood of every person who died of AIDS between 1980 and 1992.
Teach your children about Ronald Reagan. He was a bad and evil man.
