Leaving Work At The End Of The Day Can Be A Dangerous Proposition

by Dick Mac

In case you thought there has been any improvement in relations between the haves and the have-nots in 21st Century Western Civilization, watch what happens to a clumsy oaf making his way home from work during the G20 protests. (Conservative apologists will thell you it's his own fault for working so close to Bank Station and having the temerity to be anywhere near that neighborhood during the G20 events.)

Tomlinson looks like he may not be the brightest bulb on the tree, and he also looks like he has nothing to do with the protests. The police on the other hand are behaving in a manner that suggests they are about to riot. (I know conservative apologists believe it is protesters that start riots, but I can assure you, from personal experience, that the majority of protests that escalate to riots happen because the police become violent, not the protesters.)

Many in power are sociopathic, may who have a little bit of power tend to abuse it, and a policeman who would behave this way might have moved from sociopathic to psychopathic.
