It seems to me that Iraq has been in civil war for weeks, if not months or years. There is no future tense necessary in the headlines, it is happening now.
There is a civil war in Iraq. All American taxpayers are responsible for this civil war. We destabilized a sovereign nation and the result is civil war. Were we supposed to expect otherwise?
If we do not put an end to our occupation of Iraq and allow those people to sort out the nightmare we have created, we will only exacerbate an already horrible situation.
Enough already!
