Day 04 - A song that makes you sad: What A Wonderful World, by Louis Armstrong

The 30 Day Song Challenge has been presented to me by my friend Beff. The month of April will be dedicated to those thirty songs.

It's not a sad song, but sometimes sadness is connected to an incident rather than the song itself.

I got married in 1999, and as every groom does, I danced with my mother at the wedding reception. I selected "What A Wonderful World," by Louis Armstrong.

My mother died less than two years later, in March, 2001.

Now, every time I hear this song I remember my mother. It's not always a sad moment, but more than any other song, this song can make me feel sad.
