It's important that everybody knows that Brock Allen Turner is a rapist.
He is a rapist who has been given a slap on the wrist for what he did.
He is a rapist not being punished severely for the severity of his crime(s).
A poor white person, or any person of color who commits far less serious crimes is sentenced to years of imprisonment that includes anal rape.
Yes: everyone who goes to prison is likely sentenced to an extended period of anal rape.
So, young men who cross the border peacefully but illegally are sentenced to some extended time of anal rape. Young men who are sentenced for possession of drugs are sentenced to some extended time of anal rape. Young men who are sentenced for disorderly conduct or are unable to make bail are sentenced to, or subjected to, an extended period of anal rape.
Anal rape is the actual punishment meted out to a young man sentenced to state prison in America. Sometimes county prison, too, but county prisons tend to be less violent and better policed.
But this guy, who is an actual rapist, is not being sentenced to any period of anal rape. He is being slapped on the wrist.
Why no anal rape for this rapist?
The verdicts?
GUILTY of "Assault with the intent to commit rape."
GUILTY of "Sexual penetration of an intoxicated person."
GUILTY of "Sexual penetration of an unconscious person."
But, this rapist is a privileged white guy, so no anal rape sentence for him.
Remember his name and his face and spread it around the world, all around the world.
