A Call To Action

So many issues require attention and nominal effort on our part can really make a difference. Calling your elected officials, signing a petition, donating money or time, writing a letter . . . these things can, and often do, sway an elected official to vote one way or another on a particular issue.

Often, elected officials are influenced by corporate interests because corporations are taking the time to sway the official. Citizens rarely, if ever, call to voice an opinion or request a vote one way or another.

You can make a difference.

Today, I ask you to consider this from the Audubon Society:

Congress is voting on the Interior Department budget this week. Please follow this link and take action.

Peace.
